I agree that you should narrow that range a lot. Since you know the titrated pressure is 13, I'd start it at, say, 12 and 17. Then after a week or more, evaluate the data and see if that can be narrowed down further. While an autoPAP can adjust to the pressure you need at any point during the night, there's some debate as to whether a narrower range would cut down on reaction time. I'm of the opinion it does.
The goal is to keep the AHI below 5 but since you're just starting, don't worry about that too much right now. Get used to the machine, get the right mask, then worry about tweaking the settings further to get below 5.
One thing to do, though, is to make sure the clock is right. ResMed machines reset themselves at noon, whatever "noon" is according to it's clock. Any data available on the screen is gone (but is on the card) after noon.
