New Member needing help with results PLEASE
Hello All,
I have been lurking and reading for a short time trying to learn more but never posted until now. I would love some help interpreting my results and looking for ways to improve. Thank you in advance for any help!
Since starting CPAP I have dropped almost 90 lb but my apena hasn't changed much.

RE: New Member needing help with results PLEASE
Your minimum pressure is too low for an adult. Raise it to 7. Your maximum is also too low. You can see this, as you are constantly bumping against it. Raise the max to 15.
So,
pressure range 7 to 15.
You also have Positional Apnea. PA shows on your charts as clusters of obstructives and/or hypopneas. No setting works for this. PA results when your chin tips toward your chest, causing an air blockage, much like a kinked hose causes water blockage. Some solve it by sleeping on a lower pillow, but more solve it by wearing a soft cervical collar. Lots here like the Caldera Releaf Collar because it's quite comfortable, but it doesn't go as high as some others, so it's not good for those with a longer neck. Others like the Velpeau and other collars as well.
Also, your Oscar chart needs some work. The easiest way to do this is to press the F12 key to copy your chart (FN+F12 for Mac). This usually gets it right. You want to end up with the following, and only the following, in the order listed on the page you post:
Event Flags
Flow Rate
Pressure
Leak Rate
Flow Limits
Again, welcome and best wishes for achieving great therapy and comfort!

See your pressure line hitting the top of the graph over and over? Min and Max pressures need to be adjusted as Deborah suggested.
I only give suggestions from experience as a fellow CPAP user, not professional advice.
