New Sleep study

New Sleep study
I have had 11 hours of sinus surgery and have bone missing between brain and sinus. CPAP is conraindicated so I sleep on side. One side is good and one side is bad as well as prone on back.
My question is left side 4.9% vs right side of 52.6%. Do I sleep on both sides for the test or only on the left side to get a proper result. Five years ago I was server sleep aphena.
Thanks

RE: New Sleep study
Typically, I've had the testing tech prompt me if they need to see time with me on left, right, or back.

RE: New Sleep study
Thanks.
I'm a veteran and this is the end of a seven year fight to get my disability compensation. The new study is needed and I agree it is needed. So I'm looking for a good mix for this test and maybe later I need to get another sleep test sleeping only on my left side for oxygen saturation as it may be low.
Great forum!

RE: New Sleep study
Just my opinion but I'd give them sleep test results that follows your real sleep, even to body positions. If they really need something, they'll ask. My sleep is bad enough as is without altering anything.

Best wishes to you on this. Keep asking questions, visit our wiki to learn as well.
