New To CPAP Machine. Is this Normal?

New To CPAP Machine. Is this Normal?
I have an Airsense 11 and an ResMed AirFit™ N30i.   I'm just coming to the end of my first week.   Up until yesterday, my only problem was a lot of pain in between the lips and the nose.   From the advice on this board, I used Lansinoh cream last night.   About two hours in, I woke up with the pressure at 18 and staying there.  I turned the machine on and off again, and the pressure climbed again until around 18.   Is that normal?  I know frighteningly little about the machine, but thought pressure only climbed during events?   I also felt as if I had trouble breathing last night.   Even before the pressure climbed.   I hadn't had that feeling the first 6 nights.   Are those problems somehow related?  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dan

Posting a chart from OSCAR would let us see exactly what is driving pressure. Instructions for organizing charts and posting attachments are in the links in my signature.
