New to Resmed Aircurve 10 V auto -- need help
After many years on CPAP, I bought my own BIPAP machine, as I was still tired during the day and my doctors were no help.
My CPAP settings were Pressure14 and EPR 3, but I was not happy with my flow limits, as I still feel they are indicative of breathing/airways difficulties, causing awakenings.

To begin with I used the default settings on the Bipap machine, with ipap =10, epap=5, PS=3 and set it to V-auto mode, and had pretty good results the first night, not as good the second night, but still I feel I could do better in regard to the Flow Limits.

My questions:  Should I stay in V-auto mode, or switch to S mode, and depending on which one, what settings should I use based on the attachments to further reduce the flow limits, or is it something else I should be looking at.

Thanks in advance for any help.

As things stand, your pressure varies by only about 1-cm and I don't think fixed pressure will change much. Instead, let's keep that very small range and add a bit more PS to the formula. EPAP min 5, IPAP max 10, PS 3.4. If centrals or variable breathing re-emerge then we can increase the trigger sensitivity to high.

You've come a long way considering this old chart on CPAP. Also, OSCAR is currently at version 1.6.0. Time for an upgrade.
