Attached graphs - sorry I'm on a laptop with terrible resolution so had to take 3 screen shots.
Some items of note:
* I feel somewhat tired during the day, but never to the point of falling asleep at work, while driving, or in public. This did not change pre-CPAP to post-CPAP.
* I have been using the CPAP for about 4 months now. I often take it off when I'm in a haze after 3-5 hours without really realizing it.
* I am back sleeper. I don't think this can change since when I sleep on my side I get terrible heartburn.
* My wife says I snore very loud but the CPAP has helped with that.
So I'm not sure really what my question is, other than, are these stats from OSCAR ok? I feel like they are, but am not sure if there is anything glaring I should take from them.
Are you on any medications that affect your breathing or sleep?
Do you have any health issues that affect your breathing or sleep?
Can you post a copy of your sleep report with your personal info redacted.
It my be easier for you to show just these 5 key graphs at the moment :
1.Events
2.Flow rate
3.Pressure
4.Leak rate
5.Flow limitations
Use F12 in Oscar to catch a screenshot, Fn F12 for a Mac , you can change the height of the charts to fit them.
We need to see the device settings.
You do need to use the cpap machine longer, 7 1/2 to 8 hours.
Are you able to sleep only on your left side, that is a good position to lessen heartburn and apnea
You may wish to deal with your heartburn issue ASAP to prevent serious problems down the road.
Be mindful that there is a correlation between GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) and OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) where OSA can disrupt the lower esophageal sphincter's function, promoting reflux. GERD symptoms, like heartburn, can worsen sleep and contribute to sleep apnea. My doc prescribed a PPI (Proton Pump Inhibitor) and some lifestyle changes, including what I eat near bedtime and elevating my head with blocks under the top of the bedframe.
Best,
Steve
