Newbie in ChicagoLand - DME providers?

Newbie in ChicagoLand - DME providers?
I am a new user in Northern Chicagoland.   I am not very happy with my DME provider, APRIA, nor my machine, LUNA II.

I understand supply issues with ResMed.

Recommendations?

RE: Newbie in ChicagoLand - DME providers?
The first thing you want to do is call your insurance and get a list of providers that they are contacted with.  Once you have that list, start calling!  You can usually get a "feel" if they're easy to deal with or not.  You don't have to stay with any one DME.

Ask what brand machines they dispense and if they are able to get you an AirSense 10 AutoSet or the newer AirSense 11.

You were probably issued the LUNA due to the shortage of machines available.

The LUNA is not supported by the OSCAR software which is a huge consideration if you want to track your own data.
