Newby aircurve bipap 13/9 in out
Sorry im long and awmost illiterate been on bipap five months said 22 -30 events with improper gas exchange, spare you the techs long version of carbon killin me etc , seems been doin great on it as events always under five , drs say ten be ok for me. But im under three most time n evin less alot of under one evin , point and question is still wake alot to use bathroom aways have , but i check resemd machine n itll say last night example n reason askin bed at 11 up 130 said .6 events up 4 .03 events , have seen this up n down also , anywas up again at 6 .03 events then overslept n woke 830 said 1.3 events. Alls good i guess but question is resmed app on fone makes it look as though ive had 1.3 events per hr were i know by checkin at wake ups its as above , plus oscar shows the events as in the late morning and i check often as get up to use bathroom i see numbers as described n when load oscar like once a month it shows events here n there as youed know. Yet resmed app makes you think every hr hope am makin sense first drs visit he said great no werries, sleep tech guy says keep eye on everything and yes feel way better n at first less bathrooms trips but habit er wutever theyve returnt to every couple hrs hope made sense enuff for some answers. Thank you

Welcome! It sounds as though you're doing pretty well with your CPAP, which is good news.
Could you take a screenshot of a typical daily chart and attach it to your next post? It'd be very helpful to us to see that. Be sure to include the left panel and these graphs: events, flow rate, pressure, leaks, flow limitations snores. No need to include any of the other graphs. You should trust the numbers in Oscar more than the numbers you're seeing on your phone. Those numbers on your phone include a lot of rounding up or down. When people carry a lot of weight in their abdomens, that can cause breathing problems. It's just harder to get the lungs working right when your muscles have to push against a lot of weight. Losing weight will have a lot of benefits for you, and one of them might be that you can use lower pressures. No guarantees, but it definitely could happen. It often isn't easy to lose weight, but I'm hoping very much you can do it. Can your doctor get you an appointment with a nutritionist to help you with your eating habits? And can you get in a few walks around the block every day?

The easiest way to post Oscar is to use the F12 button above the regular keys to copy the chart (FN and F12 together with a Mac). Try that.
