Post COVID Sanitizer
Any suggestions for a sanitizer for post COVID. I will be discarding everything I can. But I don't have replacements for the ResMed 11 internal elbow and humidifier tank.
I searched but the threads crossed over so much because of discussions about COVID. Only one I found mentioned Control III but said it was dangerous.

Unfortunately, I used my machine for 2 hours the night I thought I was just starting a winter cold. But the contagious period was also probably at least 2 nights of use before the symptoms.

RE: Post COVID Sanitizer
Control III is a hospital grade sanitizer and is safe when diluted as directed. If you have ever handled pool chemicals or filled a car or lawnmower with gasoline, you have encountered more hazardous materials than Control III. Follow directions and rinse well. The literature suggests that SARS CoV-2 does not persist on surfaces for very long and simple soap and water followed by drying is probably sufficient for your CPAP equipment. You should know your CPAP is not likely to be contaminated as it will not support the live virus, and all we are concerned with is a good clean humidifier, tube and mask. Sanitation is generally not needed unless equipment is shared, and I am not aware of any case where a person contracted COVID from CPAP equipment used during their illness. Don't go crazy and burn your bed. I don't think your concern is warranted.

RE: Post COVID Sanitizer
Thanks @SleepRider. I had already ordered RespiSoak. From your comments I assume it will be good enough.
But is Control III better? Should I get it also?

RE: Post COVID Sanitizer
I don't have any Control III. Several forum members do use it, but I personally see it as overkill. I have been doing this since 2008 and never perceived a contamination problem with my equipment.
