Not sure why last night CPAP results were bad

Help with CPAP settings
Hi everyone, I have been on CPAP therapy for over 2 weeks now. I have an Airsense 10 Auto with a full face mask.
I haven't really noticed any improvement in my tiredness, and I am aware that my sleep specialist set my machine to a broad range (4-20 lol) that might not be enough for me.
I have attached my OSCAR report.
Thanks for any help Smile

RE: Help with CPAP settings
Increase minimum pressure to 7 or 8 cm with current EPR 3. You have periods of high flow limitation and associated events that appear to be positional. If you use multiple pillows or are sleeping in a way your head is angled up, it can promote chin-tucking which causes airway resistance or obstruction. Based on your chart, the obstructive events either occur when your pressure is less than 7.0, or during these clusters of positional obstruction with peaks at 03:20, 05:00 and 07:30. RE: Help with CPAP settings
Thanks so much. I adjusted my machine accordingly.
I experienced more REM sleep (which I imagine is a good sign), however had more AHI (2.07) last night. The positional apnoeas are most likely the culprit.
I will try with pillows under my chin.

Thanks again Smile

Not sure why last night CPAP results were bad
I'm on my third week of therapy and have been averaging around 1.8 AHI for the most part.
I adjusted my settings with the help of Mr Sleeprider a few days ago and had no issues Smile

However last night it seems I had quite a few hypopneas and OAs in general, but without any major leaking (which is usually what causes those apneas for me).

Could there be something wrong with my settings?

Thanks

It looks like a lot of your events correspond with a leak spike. The leaks are really small, not enough to be a problem for the machine to compensate but I wonder if you do a zoomed view, maybe a 2 or 3 minute view, of those events if you had a small arousal due to the leak/pressure change and the machine flagged some false events.
I could be totally off on that but I know when I look at mine even a slight leak can cause little arousals for me and the machine will sometimes flag an event because of that when there is no real event.
Just a thought.

divv,
I've merged your two threads so your history is in one place. Going forward, please use this thread, as this is easier for those that offer advice.

Thanks.
