Wow, Grayghost4 this is your first post and you've been a member here since 2014.  like

Glad you've finally made it here from over at cpap-talk and finally come out of your shell (a bit of Linux humor there)

Are you still living in northern Illinois?  We might be neighbors - I'm from Dixon, IL.

As a fellow Linux user, I hope you get your system back in running order.  Hopefully some of the Linux gurus here can help you.

Good luck and don't be afraid to post here in the future.  We don't byte.   Bigwink

Greyghost4 - I had the same problem before. It is centered around an incomplete OSCAR install.  In order to try and help, I need to know the method you used for the OSCAR install ?

I was able to get my system to update again with this command

sudo dpkg --remove --force-all oscar

I then created a directory /home/username/Desktop/OSCAR

and tryed to install again but had same same results

I tryed to install from  the ubuntu install

Not sure, but I think the Ubuntu .deb installation file won't work on Mint.

For the Linux gurus, what version of Mint do you have?
