OSCAR graph help
Hello, i'm still having some trouble with CPAP. I wake up at night frequently and some days still feel tired during the day. Can someone look at my OSCAR charts to see any adjustments that could be made?  I believe my AHI is pretty good.

Thank you!

RE: OSCAR graph help
Your chart looks fine, but your pressure seems too low for most adults. How did you end up with those settings?

I suggest increasing your pressure to 7 and seeing how you feel. After a few nights post another chart and folks can help tweak from there.

Had a AHI of exactly 5 on my sleep study. they set it with 4-6 ramp. I set it statically to 6. I'll try bumping it to 7.

RE: OSCAR graph help
Investigator, you are using exhale pressure relief at setting 3, that means your EPAP or exhale pressure cannot rise above 4.0 until your pressure rises over 7.0. Looking at your posted charts with fixed pressure at 6.0/4.0, you had a 95% flow limit between 0.05 and 0.11. That is relatively high and would account for noticeable respiratory effort related arousal. By increasing pressure to 7.0 without change to EPR, your fixed pressure will be 7.0/4.0 (inhale/exhale), so your exhale pressure still will not rise if needed to prevent obstruction. I think a fixed pressure of 7.0 will work okay for you, but I encourage you to try Autoset mode, which will automatically increase pressure when it senses flow resistance or obstruction. If you try this, a minimum pressure of 7.0 and maximum pressure of 9.0 will result in a delivered pressure range of 7.0/4.0 to 9.0/6.0. This is still consistent with your titration which was likely fixed pressure without EPR, and will likely improve how you feel. We can always go back to fixed pressure if the Autoset pressure is distracting or not comfortable.
