And if it doesn't say "Software Engine," try changing it to that to see if that will solve your problem.

Thanks. Does the Daily tab or Statistics tab work?

Go to Help > Troubleshooting > System Information and copy/paste its contents here.

And then try launching OSCAR while holding down the shift key. Then see if you can view the Overview.

Interesting...that's the first report I've seen of Daily working but Overview crashing with OpenGL...good to know.

The problem is an incompatibility between the graphics support in the QT system we use and some video drivers. This is mostly seen on older computers (e.g., Windows 7 computers), but has been seen even on recent computers. Usually the failure shows up as a crash when opening a profile. However, I have seen a few cases where the crash occurred later, and yours is one of them. Version 1.1.1 will attempt to detect this issue before it causes a crash and force use of the Software Engine.
