One of my worst nights.

One of my worst nights.
I just started using the O2 ring to see how my oxygen was doing with the CPAP. The first night was. Desats at 88%.

The next night (Nov 5) set a vibration alert for desats <88% and it was buzzing so much I wasn't sleeping. So I took it off and will need to reassess. I got a reading at 84%. I understand that could have been movement or something, but yeah.

I also had one of the highest AHI scores I have had since starting CPAP. Admittedly, I have gained some weight back that I had lost earlier in the year and I am working again to get that back down again.

Do y'all have any suggestions? I tried the suggestions mentioned on my previous post, and they were working until the O2 ring alert.

I am attaching two images: November 4 (not too shabby, though a lower score from ViHealth app on O2ring) and November 5 (O2 ring with alerts; and the higher AHI).

RE: One of my worst nights.
You had positional apnea where you got into a position that cut off your own airway. A couple of causes is sleeping on your back or to high of pillows. If that doesn’t help you will need a collar.I don’t think you would need a collar but I have a link to collars in my signature.

You can see positional apnea wher O or H events are grouped together.

It is also called chin tucking where your chin drops down to your sternum.
