One week in - Question

One week in - Question
Just an odd observation and a question if it is normal.

Airsense 11 Autoset in Automatic Mode - Prescribed pressure was 6-16. I read a bunch of these forums and then I changed in to 7-16, shut off ramp and turned EPR up to 3. This solved most of my feelings about lack of air.

Sometimes when I first put the mask on and start the machine I feel the mask pressure and it reads 7 on the display, but when I breathe out then in the pressure goes to zero in the mask and the little vents open (RM Airfit F20) on the mask to let more air in. Is this just because I am breaking too rapidly or deeply when I first put it on? It just seems odd. It settles after a while.

Also only a week in and I notice the pressure a lot less. It feels like the machine has less pressure but it is probably just me getting used to it.

Is it normal for the mask pressure to go to zero for a little bit (2-3 minutes) when you first put it on?

I am not even sure if I am describing it correctly.

Besides that I feel I am progressing in getting used to it. I had some bad nights but the last three were good.

RE: One week in - Question
The mask pressure minimum should be 4.0 cm with EPR. The mask pressure chart should not show a zero-flow at anytime. It can feel like no pressure, but unless something is wrong, it should not go below 4. An Oscar chart of that time that shows mask pressure should show what happened.

Thank you for that. I will see if I can figure out Oscar charts for what I am talking about.

This is a zoom of the issue I was talking about.

Here was the whole night. It was pretty good. Just for some reason the initial startup is weird at times.
