I know there are some of the university sleep clinics offer out of state services ( We are in PA). And to be honest, telemedicine has worked well for us when physician presence ( e.g. surgery) is not needed.
TIA

Online sleep physicians who use OSCAR ?
I am new to the board. I was wondering if there are any online sleep physicians/university clinics who use OSCAR or other diagnostic data to help determine patient care? It is a waste to sit in a waiting room for an hour and asked how are you feeling? It is a obvious a commitment to use a CPAP, deal with adjustments and cleaning, etc. and it is good to have some assurance that the outcome will be positive?

Initially started with a full face mask but noticed that periodically pressure would increase so much that the mask would not stay on my face. I switched to a nasl mask and this happens less often. Have been on CPAP resmed airsense for about 2 weeks. Initial sleel study AHI was 11.5. That seems to be decreasing. I do appreciate the offer but initially posted since I want to find a good sleep physician,

Here is the screenshot using F12 and following the very helpful wilki. Hopefully I got it right this time. I am not sure if the F12 should include more information or is this enough?

RE: Online sleep physicians who use OSCAR ?
The AHI depicted in your chart is excellent, even enviable for about 60% of all PAP therapy recipients. If you see one less than about 2.0, you're doing very well, and the industry and insurers use any number of 4.9 and under as 'treated'.
You do have some large leaks, and they may be due to deformed or displaced mask/seal, or due to mouth breathing. If you would click repeatedly with your cursor over the shaded grey lines where the leak seems to be, and get a more discrete depiction showing individual breaths, we might be able to look at a screen shot of that area and tell what is really going on.

stevelk9999 - You did well, grasshopper!
![]() Your AHI is excellent. I would turn off the ramp and set your pressure range to, 8 cm to 12 cm. This will get you in your proper pressure range immediately. The upper limit will prevent any pressure runaways, on bad days. Constraining your pressure to these settings, will also reduce or eliminate any arousals that may cause sleep disturbances that may affect how rested you feel upon awaking. Please report back, so we can assess how you are doing. - Red

RE: Online sleep physicians who use OSCAR ?
I found out that the university of pennsylvania offers telemedicine appointments with their sleep specialists. No in-person visit required. However, it is limited I think to PA and NJ unless the practitioner has a license elsewhere. So we made an appointment and will find out. It seems like more of the answers will be found here about the technical aspects of CPAP use but we do need a physician to oversee the care. Some of the other university sleep clinics seem to offer services to out of state folks. Many however require a first visit in person.
