What pressure would the average Joe have if hooked up to APAP

What pressure would the average Joe have if hooked up to APAP
Just curious, if you hooked up the average man, who doesn't have disordered breathing, to APAP, what pressure would the machine go to. I often am just laying awake and see my machine to to level 8.

I would think the machine is responding to some breathing restriction of some form. 8 is where I ended up starting my EPAP range on an ASV. It would hit 25 sometimes to kickstart breathing found a Central episode.

Since PAPs are for sleep breathing disorders, noting responses while awake are very likely to be misleading.

Since a very good percentage of the population has SDB, are we to assume that Average Joe has it? If so a good pressure to start with is 8cmw. What will he end up with? It depends on what he has.

If Average Joe does not have SDB there should be no increase in pressure so whatever he was initially set up at. Min Pressure.

I get a lot of questions on the forum from people that want to know what pressure to start with. I'm in Fred's head here, because my go-to answer without any other information is 8.0 cm.
