Oscar review please
Anybody have any insight? Treatment is not going well, and it looks like my biggest problem is leaks with my mask. I don’t feel like I can get a seal with the Evora full face mask and that’s the root of my problem.

RE: Oscar review please
I am afraid your graphs are quite illegible.

When you take the screenshot, double check in your your gallery is is legible before uploading.
For your information the graphs we need are:-

1.Events
2.Flow rate
3.Pressure
4.Leak rate
5.Flow limitations

Please eliminate the calendar and pie charts for better visibility.

For detailed graph organising, please see here

or briefly:-, (View > Reset Graphs > Standard)
Take a screenshot of your Daily screen.
   * For Windows or Linux: Use the F12 key
   * For a Mac: Use Fn+F12

Also for mask fitting, see HERE

                                        GENERAL UNDERSTANDING OF GRAPHS

The following may give you an initial understanding of the graphs you are going to submit:-

EVENTS
This first graph gives us a quick overview of the night's events, a breakdown of the events making up the AHI, obstructive, central and hypopneas, together with leaks which can really mess up the efficiency of the therapy. The clustering of events on this graph can indicate positional apnea.
This graph gives us clues at a glance where to focus.

The details of the night's results are contained in the following graphs:-

FLOW RATE
This graph shows us the breathing patterns during the night, breath by breath. We see when arousals happen, when we pause breathing, and other disturbances. We can even zoom in to drill down to get greater detail.

PRESSURE
This obviously shows variation in pressure during the night. Increases in pressure can be caused by the algorithm reacting to a need to open airways due to apnea events.
It may also be a reaction to leaks, or flow limitations (see following graphs below) The right minimum pressure is of great importance in controlling events.
We usually suggest an initial basic minimum of 7 with an EPR of 3

LEAK RATE
These can be either mask or mouth leaks. These often cause considerable arousals and generally disrupt the quality of sleep. Large leaks are defined for Resmed machines at 24l/m and over. Some people are sensitive to quite low levels of leaking. It is an important area to pay attention to.

FLOW LIMITATIONS
These are precursors to apnea events, with a narrowing of airways, often accompanied by a resulting pressure increase and an accompanying arousal, and sleep disruption. You will see lots of references in posts to this, and the use of EPR

Thank you.
