Oxygen concentrator as non-medically indicated optimization?

Oxygen concentrator as non-medically indicated optimization?
From a biohacking perspective, have any of you utilized supplemental oxygen to optimize PAP therapy despite not having a medical indication?

I'm looking for ways to improve my impaired cognition and believe very strongly one of the main culprits is lack of adequate cerebral oxygenation. I am on PAP for mild sleep apnea / UARS (no desats) and exercising regularly, but am also exploring additional strategies.

Be careful pursuing this concept.  You can over oxygenate.  Here is a warning snippet from the Cleveland Clinic:
Quote:If you take in more oxygen than your body needs, it can slow your breathing and heart rate to dangerous levels. Too much oxygen can lead to oxygen toxicity or oxygen poisoning. This can happen if you accidentally take in too much supplemental oxygen or use oxygen therapy when you don't need it

Are you currently tracking your sp02 nightly via a ring like this?

https://www.amazon.com/Wellue-Wearable-P...Y2s9dHJ1ZQ==

If not, I'd highly recommend it. With the data imported to Oscar w/ your sleep data you can align the desaturations to sleep events and start to experiment with remedies.

Considering your pressures in your profile are the standard 4-20cmH20, there is ample opportunity to tune those as well to get you sleeping better and to keep you better oxygenated.

Thanks all. Yeah, O2Ring is arriving today; will monitor saturation before taking any steps.
