Btw, I’m not suggesting that the Resmed tube with oxygen port should not be used. I’m just questioning the earlier idea of using a Soclean tank adapter, which would be very close to the fan.

The SoClean adapter is a kludge. It is not intended for this purpose, and while it may work there is just no reason to pay for one rather than do it right.
