New User on the boards looking for help.
Phillips Dream station 2 APAP mode
Simplus F/P Full face mask
19.0 min pressure- 20 Max 3 A flex. Humidity setting on highest setting.
I wake up tired most days still despite having been a CPAP user for years now, but need some guidance. I wake up pretty tired most days and I really have no idea what to do. I do have a deviated septum and tend to have trouble breathing through my nose for the most part. Any help is appreciated. Let me know if I need to add more information. Attached a few recent examples of my stats from OSCAR

Welcome to Apnea Board,

I would look into replacing your CPAP with bilevel if you need 19-20 pressure range. If interested, switching to a ResMed AirCurve 10 or 11 VAuto bilevel, you might not be required to run nearly Max pressure. This Philips Respironics is known to be slow and reactive for most that try them.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.

Yes, you are hitting 20, the highest an autopap can go, and clearly need a bilevel.  You can explain this to your regular doctor, nurse, dentist, etc., any of whom can prescribe you a bilevel.  Ask them to prescribe you a ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto by name, with a note that no substitution is acceptable.  It's the best.  My husband and I both recently got those machines and love them!

Also, since you need a new type of machine your insurance will cover it even if your machine is new.
Machine:  ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask:  Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution and F&P Nova Micro

Sounds like a great idea. I need to figure out how to go about getting the prescription as it has been awhile since I have had a study done. Last one was rejected by insurance. They said since i have already been diagnosed there is no need for another study. Also currently trying to find a new doctor as my previous doctor no longer takes my insurance. Thank you for the recommendation I am going to look into it!
