Starting using CPAP recently and need guidance
I am 27 y/o male. I got diagnosed with sleep apnea last year 14 AHI and tried hard to use the CPAP but I could not fall asleep after wearing the mask so I avoided it most of the time. I started using it after things are getting worsts. My AHI after using the machine is less than 5 and I sleep for at least 7-8 hours every day but I am still feeling tired. I don't see many Obstructive Apneas but there are a lot of CA most of them are when the pressure is going down. Can someone suggest me what changes should I do to my machines?

RE: Starting using CPAP recently and need guidance
Flow limits can be very important, can you please show the Flow Limit chart.
There is waxing and wanning occuring in the detailed flow following the RERA. That and the flow limits associated with the RERA indicate that you would benefit from an increase in EPR. Unfortunately that will likely increase your Central Apnea. The waxing and wanning frequently indicates a fluctuating pCO2 in your blood. When the CO2 I. Your blood goes too low the drive to breathe decreases to the point that Central Apneas occur. Increasing EPR washes CO2 out of the blood also frequently causing Central apnea. Two solutions exist, the first ASV stops Central apnea by treating the symptom of not breathing by gently forcing a breath. The second treats the cause by slightly increasing the CO2 levels and avoiding the breath stopage. This is EERS which is a mask modification which moves the mask vent a bit further away.
