[Pressure] APAP user looking to find CPAP pressure level

APAP user looking to find CPAP pressure level
Hi everyone, I would really appreciate any help or advice you can offer me as somebody who is relatively knew to the sleep apnoea treatment world.

I have been using a Lowenstein Prisma Smart Max on APAP mode for just under 9 weeks. So far although my AHI has decreased from around 38 to 1-2, I haven't noticed a change in my tiredness levels, but I realise it is still early days.

I had my check-in call with my sleep clinic today where I raised my concerns about waking up three or four times a night - sometimes this can be due to the pressure feeling too high. They mostly shrugged it off and advised that as my AHI is much healthier, the treatment is working well and I will get used to the sleep disturbances over time. From reading experiences on this forum, I'm sure there is a better way!

I now won't have another check in call with them for a year, so I would now like to experiment with the CPAP on the device where possible and test a continuous pressure to see if this reduces the disturbances somewhat. I would also be open to any recommendations about adjusting the APAP pressures if that would be better to start with.

My device is currently set to the standard 4.00 - 20.00 APAP pressures. I've attached some screenshots from OSCAR - I'm happy to provide as much information as I can from the app or any other info if this would help.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer, it would be very much appreciated!

You have a lot of flow limits as I'm reading it.

4-20 CPAP pressures typically are the default and are not really effective for adults. I think I would edit min pressure from 4 up to 7 or 8 as this was closer to your median EPAP number.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.

Thanks for taking the time to reply and the advice, I will give that a go tonight and see how that works. Do you recommend leaving the max pressure as 20?

You could leave 20 for now. It shouldn't be a big issue. It looks like you hit a Max of 15 in one of those charts, the others were about 11.
