BrandinJ9 - Therapy Assistance
Hello, I am a 23 yr old male at 300 lbs 5 foot 6 inches and I've been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea with an AHI of 13.5. I was given an Aircurve 10 Vauto eversince March of 2024 and unfortunately I can't seem to get used to it, I was initially prescribed with EPAP/IPAP/PS of 5,15, and 4 respectively with Vauto mode. I was then moved to 14, 22, and 4 but I still wake up in the middle of the night unfortunately and have occasionally have air leak out of the mask and even nights I use it for 7 to 8 hours I don't feel rested and get drowsy throughout the day. How can I got about changing my pressure to find the optimal one for me?

I'll have to buy an SD card reader, should have it by Friday so I'll see what data I can gather with it.

OSCAR Analysis

I'm trying to understand these readings from Oscar in order to see how can I get to the pressure I need to help with OSA and feel well rested when I wake up. My best days according to the statistics were in last November but I'm still not feeling rested even after the extended period of use, can anyone help me understand where I'm going wrong?

RE: OSCAR Analysis
Unfortunately, your Oscar charts do not show the items we need to see. If you press the f12 button to copy your charts, most of what we need will show automatically.  We need to see the following, and only the following, in the order listed, on your chart:

Event Flags
Flow Rate
Pressure
Leak Rate
Flow Limits

Also, we need to be able to read to the very bottom of the Flow Limits.

Making these changes will allow us to help you much better.  Smile
