Pressure Difference-Autosense 10 vs Dreamstation?

Pressure Difference-Autosense 10 vs Dreamstation?
Has anyone had any experience, or just knowledge, of why the auto pressure on a Dreamstation tends to run higher than an Autosense 10 or even a Autoset 9?

I changed from an Autosense 10 to a Dreamstation and my median, 95%, etc pressures are about 2 points higher.  On the Autosense 10, my median would be about 12 and 95% about 14.  On the Dreamstation median is about 14 and 95% about 15.7.  Same mask and same settings.  The AHIs are a little higher on the Dreamstation but not much - average of 7 vs 6.  There are many more clear airway events with the Dreamstation.

It just seems a little strange, but maybe there are these kind of differences between the various brands of CPAPs?

RE: Pressure Difference-Autosense 10 vs Dreamstation?
I don't think that is a typical result. The Dreamstation is notably slower to increase pressure and faster to decrease it. It also has an automated increase/decrease of 1.5 cm over 90 seconds ever 20 minutes or so, so this can appear like an increase in pressure, when it is simply part of the algorithm to test higher pressure. For most people, we need to set the minimum pressure of a Dreamstation auto higher.

Be glad to compare a couple graphs. Interesting observation.
