Attached screen shots from Oscar... Around 00:40, the pressure started ramping up and eventually got up over 18 and I'm at a loss trying to figure out what triggered the pressure ramp up. I ended up having to get up and end the session around 01:18 due to mask leaks and just being overwhelmed by the pressure. Mask was "blowing cherries" on my face with the pressure that high. Prior to ending/restarting the machine, I had tried to readjust the mask and consciously keep my breathing regular (the CAs were probably me trying to control breathing), but the machine just wouldn't ramp down. Looks like there was a snore event and two OAs about the time that it started ramping mask pressure, but didn't see anything that I can interpret as a reason for this (just a noob so entirely likely I just don't know what to look for). This has happened a few times since I started therapy back last October '24, but I've
just started using Oscar (noob here) so no guesses as to why. Hoping someone can help me figure out why the CPAP jacked up the pressure and wouldn't let off.
Due to posting limits, I posted what I *think* are the most relevant graphs from Oscar, but I do have one more that has the insp, etc on if that would help.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

I myself can't tell which was first, but you had 3 things very close to the same time. Leaks, increased Flow Limits, then several clustered Apnea events.
Leaks even at about 18 signify you'll have some work to adjust the mask to control this better, without making it tight or uncomfortable.
Clustered events points to probably having some Positional Apnea where your chin has tucked towards your chest, externally kinking the airway.
Flow Limits either need EPR 3 full time or higher minimum pressure.

SarcasticDave94, captured what happened perfectly .
Lose the calendar so we can see the machine settings.
Try a smaller pressure range, 9 to 13.4 cm an see if that is more comfortable
EPR of 3 full time.
If you feel starved for air, bump up the minimum .
Consider a soft cervical collar.
Settings attached and zoomed in a bit on the event to see if that helps with determination of order...
I've got the F30 mask (small) as tight as I can make it without giving me a sore nose. Even shaved my beard (clean shaven for the first time in years) to try and help with leaks. Seems to be ok for leaks around the median pressure unless I roll over the wrong way. I had shoulder surgery in December so while sleeping I seem to tend to roll back over onto my back, normally I was a side sleeper before that. I got a soft collar that was on the recommended list and it just showed up today, so will try and use that tonight to see if I can tolerate it.
Just for history, I started on a F20 large mask and I've got a bit of a scar on the bridge of my nose from the irritation from that mask. Tried the medium mask but didn't fit well and leaked a lot. Went to the F30 and have tried both the small and medium of those. Per the measurement guide, my nose is right on the line between small/medium. Medium leaked more, small seems to do better but I have it as tight as I can without waking up with a sore nose like I smooshed it all night long. I picked up a P10 nose pillow, but just got it and haven't had a chance to try that one yet.
On the pressure settings... Dr. originally set it for 5-20 and I felt like I was drowning even with ramp-up disabled. Got them to adjust it up to 8 for starter and that seems to allow me to sleep. I've since figured out how to get into the clinical settings so I can change it if needed.
Most nights I do ok with things, it's just not consistent even though I've been on it for a number of months now. Glad I found this site and hopefully I'll get it dialed in. Overall I'm doing much better than before. I had a pre-CPAP AHI over 80 and during the sleep study, my O2 fell into the 60s. I've been told to NEVER sleep without or at worst sleep sitting up as it could literally kill me. Sad thing is, once I decided to get something done about my lack of sleep and snoring, it took like 5 months to get a sleep study and eventually my machine due to insurance and only one doc within about 30 miles that does sleep studies.
Don't over tighten the F30 mask. Cinch it up snug and let the machine 'inflate' it.
Don't over tighten the collar either. I had to get a Velcro extension for mine.
