Pressure increase trigger for OSA
Hello,
I have an AirCurve 11 VAuto. Examining my data in OSCAR, I identified an OSA event with a duration of 22 seconds. I am confused by the following.
- Why did the machine wait for 22 seconds before increasing the pressure? Shouldn't it be at 10 seconds? Is this normal?
- It seems the pressure increase happened AFTER I started breathing again. Shouldn't the breathing be triggered by the increase in pressure?
I attached a screenshot of the OSCAR chart.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Welcome to the forum.
Please post a full night in addition to the zoomed in chart.
The little "ripples", which I think are possibly flow limitations that were missed, made the AirCurve wait until there was no breath attempt.
If your "Trigger" was set to very high, the machine might have assisted your inhalation, IMO

RE: Pressure increase trigger for OSA
Hello JDougC,
Thanks for the quick reply.
As requested, attached is the full screenshot of the OSCAR page for that OSA, including all the parameters of my AirCurve 11.
