Purpose of MRI in Ruling Out Sleep Disorders?
#11
RE: Purpose of MRI in Ruling Out Sleep Disorders?
My neurologist suggested I get an MRI done but I am unable to. I had a surgery in my jaw years ago and they left pins and plates in the bone to help it grow. Unfortunately, all of the records for the surgery were destroyed when a hurricane hit the hospital and it flooded (right before they switched to online records). She asked me if I wanted to risk it....I did not think this is something I would ever hear from my doctor. I think of the episode of House where they "risked" it and the metal emerging from the guys skin is not a pleasant site. So no...I don't wish to risk it.
