New to DS2 and new to OSCAR - create baseline snapshot before refining setttings?
I just migrated to the DS2 from recalled DS1, and also new to OSCAR.

I never "oscared" my DS1, as settings were giving me good results.
Now with the DS2, I think I need to take some time to refine things.
Note: my mistake was to never write down my improvements steps on the DS1.

Should I "oscar" these early DS2 nights, so as to compare to the soon-to-be better settings later?

I would post your OSCAR screenshot, use F12 as it does some minor formatting.

Let the users here see what is going on and provide guidance.
