Recent pressure increase. How does my data look? :)

Recent pressure increase. How does my data look? :)
I've been on CPAP for around a year now and have recently been suggested a pressure increase from my provider. Here are my results from the first night. I did struggle to sleep for the first couple of hours due to how hot it is here currently! As a result I think my CA's are false flags but any help of suggestions would be welcome thank you!

It's hard to comment on your pressure settings, not knowing what you were using before you increased it, but with the many breaks in your sleep, you may be sensitive to higher pressures.  Why not lower the max pressure a bit, maybe down to 16cm.  Are you using SoftPap?  Set it to 1 or 2 and see if that helps.

A quick look shows that most of your events coincide with your leak rate.  How old is your full face mask?  When was the last time you replaced the cushion?  That could also make a difference.

There is also some evidence of "Positional Apnea" by the clumping of apnea shown on your graph.  You may be sleeping in a way that cuts off your air.  Are you tucking your chin into your chest area?

Read this article and see if anything applies to how you sleep.

RE: Recent pressure increase. How does my data look? :)
Hi and thank you for your reply!

My provider recently increased my maximum pressure from 16.5 to 18cm due to the amount of time the machine spent at maximum pressure. Apparently it wasn’t cleaning my apnoea and I needed more.

I use the F40 and my cushion is only 3 months old maybe, so I don’t think it’s that.

The positional apnoea is certainly food for thought! I definitely sleep with my chin tucked in when sleeping on my side, so I think a soft cervical collar will be my next purchase!

Thank you again!

Just be aware that the higher pressure won't blast through apnea that's caused by cutting off your air by chin tucking.
