ResMed 11 not enough humidity

Hi,

I have been using a Resmed 11 for about 3 years.  I just replaced the water tank because of a crack and noticed that I am not consuming much water.  The water tank is barely down and my throat feels very dry.  I have the unit set to the max (8).   I have double/triple check the new tank, and it exactly matches the old tank.  Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I've noticed that too on my AirCurve 11 compared to 10. The 11 hardly uses any water sometimes. I haven't tried adjusting it from the default setting. But the 10 used to have noticeable humidity. The 11 doesn't. I think they dumbed down the 11 as the tank looks smaller but they say it is same capacity.

I wish I had got another 10 and thinking about using my old 10 and put this 11 as a backup even though I'm paying for it monthly. I think it's too late for me to switch it to another 10.
