ResMed Airfit F20 mask nose irritation - solution?

Thanks for all the comments. Last 2 nights have been OK. I did angle the straps up as in my second picture which seems to keep the mask more elevated and off my node bridge. You all did notice that the head gear look very large for me in that the straps can not be tightened further.

Also I called suppliers and asked about the headgear sizes.

Indeed, a large cushion comes standard in a kit with a STANDARD size headgear. BUT they do make a small headgear. My DME was going to take 2-3 weeks to get one to me so I looked on Amazon and they had one to be delivered in 2 days and I bought it for $35 as a trial. Interestingly their AI assistant that combs the reviews stated that many uses found the small headgear to stop leaks, fit better etc. SO! we shall see.

No matter what full face mask I used I always had irritation on my nose bridge. At times it got very raw and I always had an indentation on my bridge because of the mask.

I switched to the F30, which is a hybrid mask, and that solved my problems. I have been using the F30 since it came out around 2018.

You are most welcome ! Glad found a smaller head gear.   It was noticable that the head gear is large by the way your out of adjustment and how much fabric is hanging over !  Provided the small headgear will be a better size , which I feel . You will notice what we are all seeing .   If you get a good fit with the smaller headgear , take a look and you will see a big difference.  

Did you order a resmed one on Amazon ?
