Your titration study recommended CPAP pressure at 7.0, and it is partially correct. What we did was to look at your Airsense 10 as a bilevel, and effectively, your EPAP is 7.0 with PS 3, resulting in a median pressure of 10/7 (IPAP/EPAP). Your airway is patent against obstructive apnea at 7.0 cm, but your flow limitations and respiratory effort related arousals are clearly much better treated by the limited bilevel pressure with EPAP min of 7.0 and IPAP max of 13.0, PS 3.0. This bilevel capability is exactly why many of us on the forum are adamant that the Resmed CPAP provides better therapy than alternatives like Philips which lacks this important feature. We simply could not have achieved these results.
