Resmed Card to cloud? Need advice!!
My Aircurve 10 got the heating system fault code last week so I need a new Aircurve 10. But when I see them online now they all say Card to Cloud in the description and was wonder does that mean I cannot access the clinical mode or upload it into Oscar type software? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It only means that it lacks a modem to '"phone home" and populate the MyAir App.it is fully functional, likely with more modes than your current machine and all data is accessible via OSCAR. The Clinical menu is accessible the same way you are currently using it .

RE: Resmed Card to cloud? Need advice!!
A number of DMEs are working on a non-ResMed "third-party" Card to Cloud solution that will allow you to send the necessary files from your SD card to them via email or web transfer -- and they will upload them to their ResMed AirView patient management system. It appears to be one-way access and is used mainly for insurance compliance and review by their respiratory techs. I would not be surprised if ResMed introduces similar technology to avoid losing access to a wealth of research and tracking data.

Sounds great and the lack of modem on the Aircurve 10 seems to offer a big discount. I paid for it with my credit card without insurance and uploaded my doctors prescription for the machine but didn't know the company required my pressure settings. All the other machines
I've bought have either been through this website via a private party or through Craigslist. It's amazing how many barriers there are to treat yourself with a bipap/cpap. The advice I've received here for treatment over the years has been far more helpful and effective than the 3 sleep specialists I've seen. |
