Resmed S9 Not Recording Sleep Data

Hello,

I recently purchased a gently used Resmed S9 as my previous one quit working.  I have been using this for a month and I wanted to start looking into the sleep data.  The machine is not recording AHI, sleep hours, or anything else on the machine OR on the Resmed SD OR on another SD card that I used.  I reset the machine, erased data, hard reboot, SD cards are unlocked when used, but still nothing.  The sleep report is always blank with no data.  The sleep report setting is set to "On" instead of "Usage", which should allow more detail.  I also waited multiple mins after therpy has been completed before pulling the SD card to load into SleepHQ or Oscar.  The datalog folder and the summary on the machine are always blank, so am I missing something?

Have you tested the SD card in your PC to see if it can read and write a file? If so, does your S9 write any files to your SD card?

Hello Crimson,

Yes, it does write files to the SD but the datalog is always empty.  Even the sleep summary menu on the machine is always empty as well, which to me, denotes no data being recorded.

It sounds like the reason it was for sale. Do you know anyone with a Resmed that you could try using your card in to see if their machine will write to the SD card?

I might be able to find another machine to test it out on.  I mean, the thing works great otherwise.  Thanks for the help.

When you wake up in the morning, turn the machine off and take a look at the screen and see if there's data there, like the number of hours slept, AHI, etc.

Nothing is on the screen.  After therapy, I hit the power button and check, its all blank.
