Isn't the humidifier heater turned off when at the '0' setting?

I'm going to try the crushed ice idea this Summer!

I've been using the "classic" mode for about a week or so, and it works better that way. It still uses up almost the full tank, but at least there's still water in it in the morning!

I was also able to get a copy of the service manual for the PRSys1, so I'm going to be looking at the schematic to see if there are any adjustments that can be tweaked, but I suspect it's all in the firmware. Another thought is to add another thermistor in parallel with the one in the humidifier, so it thinks it's hotter than it really is. I'll post about that at some point in the future.

Meanwhile, does anyone know where I could obtain newer firmware for this beast? They may have already fixed the problem...
