Result of my home sleep study test - is CPAP 1st option
Hi,
As I am learning more and more about sleep apnea, I was thinking back to my sleep study test that I did at home. I will show the results below.
When I went to the sleep dr, she mentioned that I should strongly consider cpap as the solution to it.
I never really question this but started thinking based on my study if this is the right solution? I see AHI numbers but no OSA or CAs so I am confused.
I'm just wondering what people think about whether the cpap is the first option for my case.

If me, yes I'd begin Auto CPAP therapy. Specifically the ResMed AirSense 10 or 11 AutoSet.
You have Hypopnea events which are about 3/4 full Apnea. Both event types have a duration of 10 seconds minimum, just that with Hypopnea you're only half choked. Apnea will typically tend to get worse as you age, so taking this on now may help you progress to better health and sleep.
