RE: Going nowhere with ASV after 3 months
Sorry, I got ahead of my self and could have interpreted this better. The titration was hard to make useful because there are only a three useful tests here, and the EPAP range is the same for all at 4.0 to 15.0 without any notation as to the actual pressure. In all cases, there were no obstructive or central events. The only event of note was RDI with PS 0.0 to 8.0. The ONLY conclusion that can be reached from this test is that you do better with a PS minimum of 2.0 to 4.0 than with PS min 0.0. Even the graph of EPAP only shows the range, not the delivered pressure, so useless for narrowing the EPAP range.
I don't see how this helps you to do anything practical but to set a PS range of 2.0 to 8.0 and continue with EPAP up to 15 cm with an unknown optimal minimum. Your two charts on the previous page show 8-15 was considerably worse than 6-15. I think it would have been more beneficial for a technician to analyze your historic ASV results and throw a dart to get a target. Instead, the doctor simply left you where you began with a recommendation for ASV EPAP 4-15, PS 0-15. Well done!
