Settings Advice: More Tweaks I Can Make?
Hello,
A bit of background - I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea in 2018 after years and years of fatigue, but had so much difficulty with it that I quickly stopped using my. CPAP. I restarted about two months ago after the fatigue became truly unbearable and have adjusted to it very well. Fortunately, I sleep through the night with it now.
My doctor started me off at 4-15. I learned enough from these boards that I needed to bump that up considerably. I gradually have, and am now at 10-15. On this night, I used EPR 3 though I have usually been at 2.
I recently switched from a F40 to an F&P Evora (I'm a mouth breather so need full face). I was in the 4-5 AHI range with the F40 and am down to the 2's with the Evora - the Evora seems to control leaks better for me.
Any advice on additional tweaks I should consider?
Thank you all for your help. This has been a great resource.
Welcome to the forum. I am happy to hear that you are back on cpap, the distress to your heart would have been an issue.
Are you using F12 to do a screen capture, we are missing the flow limit chart, which is very low though.
The increase of EPR might have contributive to your CAs. Why did you increase it from 2? Or the CAs could be treatment emergent.
Can you post a copy of your sleep report with your info redacted?
Are you a side sleeper?
Do you use a soft cervical collar?
Good luck!

Sorry, still getting used to all the data and working Oscar on a Mac - here is the rest, with the flow limits.
I am definitely a side sleeper and I toss and turn. I have not been using a collar though that is something I have thought of in case some of this is positional.
Honestly, I have no idea which EPR I should use. I ticked it up only because I was moving the minimum up and thought it would help to get adjusted to it.
The only charts we need are the following:
Event Flags
Flow rate
Leak Rate
Flow limits
Pressure
Your awakenings or your arousals may be limited with a soft cervical collar as you might be chin tucking in your deep or REM sleep.
Also you have very low Flow limits, so if you don't need EPR for comfort on your exhalation use 0 or 1
