I'm new to the forum, and waiting for my sleep apnea results from the NHS, (a long slow process, from appointment to this stage).
A bit of background information:-
In general, I manage my sleep apnea by changing positions when I sleep. I am not using any sleeping aids, however, tried nasal strips, which have not helped with this, (helped with sinuses i sometimes get, usually in the winter).
I wear a dental dam as I grind my teeth during sleep too.
My main questions,
1. Can anyone offer tips or aids that can help for my sleep apnea, when sleeping in bed?
2. Each time I sleep upright, on a plane, or coach for example. As soon as I dose off, I feel a sudden inability to breathe and wake up in a little panic. Its very troublesome on long haul flights, I do what I can to stay awake in these situations. Can anyone offer tips or sleeping aids I can use? I will fly again soon, and would love any type of assistance to help.
Thanks for any assistance in advance.
