Alan,

Thank you very much. I appreciate your time on my software issues. Confounding at times...

Sometimes I hate that I am old...

I just re-read what you wrote. You're saying SH opens every time you boot the computer without clicking on the icon.

Go to this hidden folder: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Remove any sleepyhead shortcuts there. If you don't see it there, try this location:

Windowskey+R and type in
Code:
shell:startup

(had to put that in a code block or I would have a smiley there :\)

If you don't see anything there, two more places you can check.

Windowskey+R and type in TASKMGR
Click over to the Startup tab and see if SH is in there. Right-click disable

or if you are comfortable with the registry:
Windowskey+R and type in REGEDIT

Navigate to: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Also check : Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

If you find it there, just delete the SH entry on the right side

Check the key below it too: RunOnce

If you're not seeing it in any of those places I have a few more to check.
Using FlashAir W-03 SD card in machine. You can download your data through wifi with FlashPAP or Sleep Master utilities.

I wanted to learn Binary so I enrolled in Binary 101. I seemed to have missed the first four courses. Big Grinnie

Stick it to the man, Download OSCAR and take back control of your data!

Thanks Ian. Like I didn't have enough Honey-Do projects to tackle. Mornincoffee

Alan,

The following solved the problem nicely. Thank you for following up when you realized my question was different than what you initially answered. I really appreciated the ideas to try.

Hopefully this thread will help others with these kinds of issues.

Bill
