I am a complete newbie to this forum so please forgive my ignorance.

I was about to download SleepyHead (SH) and having been the victim of malware I am very careful about what I install on my computers.  I have no wish to cast aspersions on JediMark who is clearly providing an excellent service to the Sleep Apnea community, but how can I be reassured that the SH software is completely safe to download ?

I just downloaded it to a new computer. No malware. If your worried about it than scan the file before opening.

If you only download #SleepyHead from the link at the top of the page, then you can feel safe.  Also, there is a SHA1 hash number below each Operating System version.  This is a special number based on several program attributes.  It is nearly impossible;e to duplicate this number if the program is altered in any way.   I use it to make sure that I received an accurate and complete download.  

To use the SHA1 value, download a a free hash checking program like the on I have in the following link:
MD5 and SHA Checksum Utility

Next, download #SleepyHead to your computer.  After the download is complete, run the SHA1 Check program.   For the File, press browse and select the SleepyHead file you just downloaded. Go back to the SleepyHead download site and select and copy the SHA1 value below the version you downloaded.  Paste this value in the Hash box. Select Verify.  If everything went wel you will have a matching value.

maybe who do you know if there is an Android app for scanning CPAP data? SleepyHead is not available for Android. My CPAP is DREAM STATION PRO Philips respironics.

Maratas, there is an Android app called DreamMapper, which requires the Bluetooth module on the Dreamstation. It seems to be available in Australia, Canada, and the US, at least, but possibly not in Europe.
