Started off great but now struggling

Started off great but now struggling
Lately I have not been sleeping well and I am seeing my AHI numbers go up. Currently set on fixed pressure of 7.0, which is the original RX.

I've had my CPAP for a year, I love it, but I wonder if I am supposed to be consulting with a doctor about it? A PCP prescribed my sleep study and the sleep study place gave me my RX, but beyond that I have never spoken to a doctor about it. Is someone supposed to be reviewing how I am doing with it periodically?  FWIW I bought my own machine online instead of whatever the DME wanted to give me because they weren't offering me a choice and I didn't feel like waiting for them.

If you have a copy of the sleep study, please post it here.

Your PCP should have reached out to you long ago for a follow up.  But there is no reason you can't contact a doctor or PCP to discuss your therapy.

Unless insurance is involved, the DME has no financial interest in monitoring your therapy, especially since you purchased your machine outright.

I think you would do much better by switching to Auto Mode, with a minimum pressure set at 7cm.  Let's set the maximum at 15cm.  EPR set at 2 full time.

With the extremely high flow limitation and Hypopnea, you should be using some EPR.

Expect some adjustments based on what we see in a day or two.

If you need a Clinicians Manual, order it HERE:
