Thank you
Good day
As we tend to post only when we have issues, and as bad nights tend to put me in bad mood, I wanted to post today only to thank the team in this forum.
While my doctors were telling me that AHI slightly below 5 was great, you guys have listened to me and helped me feeling much better leveraging at best the resmed s10.cpap. Your advises are simple, pragmatic, full of good sense, based on attentive « listening »
You have had me :
-increase my low pressure at 80% of the med
-set the EPR at 2 and full time
-have an SCC all night

After 2 months of having these new settings, I do feel better, in a stable way. Of course not always the greatest but so much better. As this « better » becomes new normal, I am just paying attention not to become over demanding and number obsessed.

In summary, big thank you for doing what you do!

RE: Thank you
Thank you for the feedback. It's hard to have patience for the benefits of CPAP therapy to catch up with the improved AHI and therapy settings. You have taken 2-months to feel these subtle improvements and changes. That is very common and yet expectations that upon starting CPAP one will feel better are very prevalent among new users. Your post reminds everyone of the reality that it can take time, and the changes are so gradual we may not always be aware of it.
