Time to End Cpap?

Is it tie to go cap-less and see what happens or do I have to go thru Doc to do that. I was told that anything below 5.0 was mild SA, so I figure with my stats, SA is almost over.
Suggestions please.

Think of apnea as high blood pressure.  Or hypothyroidism.  Once you begin to see reduced pressures, or your titrations of thyroxin rise to normal, and your doc smiles at you, do you go home and throw out the rest of the pills?

RE: Time to End Cpap?
Only reason I was thinking of dumping Cpap is my sleep has not gotten any better. My other sleep ap, Sleep Watch says I have best sleep of about .5 to .75
a hour every night. Very restless most of night, even when my # AHI is .1 or .2. Most nights it is between .6 to .9. The only benefit to using the machine is my AHI
#s came down. But my sleep remains crappy. Will install the program to collect more data, OSca Etc.
My AHI has never been more than 3 or 4 and that was years ago.

If you will post people here can make the therapy better and I think you will feel better. The sleep app does nothing to help you with the settings on your machine!
