Titration Study Assistance

Titration Study Assistance
I have been on CPAP for 3 months and have been struggling so my Doctor requested I do a sleep test/titration study and I got the results back. I am not sure what I am looking at but what I see is different than what my Doctor sees. My Doctor is only concerned with the AHI and sees low numbers and says I am doing great. I see the following 1) Less than 10% of the time in REM sleep - only 22 minutes 2) Minimum SpO2 of 90% 3) Sleep efficiency of 62% 4) 34 awakenings and 71 arousals in less than 4 hours of total sleep time.

While I am sleeping better being on CPAP, I am still exhausted and falling asleep during the day and feel myself waking up 6-10 times a night so I know I am not getting deep sleep.

I have attached my sleep report if anyone has any suggestions. I have been using a pressure of 11-15 as that is what my Oscar data is showing. They only used a pressure of 4 and 6 in the sleep lab. I tried to explain it was near impossible to sleep deeply at the sleep center and that is the reason those low pressures worked. If you don't sleep, you dont get apneas. At my wits end and my Doctor is not helpful at all.

If anyone knows how to read these tests and if the 4 concerns I stated above are not a big deal, that would be great to hear. I am looking to find another Doctor but I know it will take months to get in to see them. Open to any suggestions. Thank you.

RE: Titration Study Assistance
Welcome! I think your O2 sats are fine. Any sleep study provides frustratingly less information than we might wish. It's just one night, for one thing, and if you have an in-lab study, it can be hard to sleep.

I do see a high index for arousals in your sleep report. These are mostly not related to respiratory issues; that means they are what are called "spontaneous" arousals. It can be hard or impossible to know what causes them.

Could you upload a screen shot of a recent Oscar chart, following the directions for organizing your daily view? That will help us understand more about what might be going on.
