[Treatment] Therapy analysis - ormandj

Therapy analysis - ormandj
Hi,

I've been on CPAP therapy since September of 2018. I have a Resmed Airsense 10 with the AirTouch F20 full-face mask and a Climateline hose. I've lost a relatively significant amount of weight over the last 6 months or so (I was 185lbs at time of diagnosis, 203lbs last year, and 158lbs as of today), and would like to optimize my CPAP treatment (or potentially move on, if I've resolved my OSA, which I realize is unlikely.)

Historically, my machine was setup with min pressure of 6, max of 12, but last night I dropped it to min pressure of 4 just to get a baseline for this post. I don't have the original sleep study at this point.

I hope I've captured the important information, please let me know if there's anything I need to change/add from a data perspective, or any additional file(s) I should upload to assist. I'm primarily concerned that I still wake up tired. My watch tells me my SPO2 drops into the 80s at night, but I don't trust it to be accurate, as it's a watch. I've attached a screenshot from that, so at least the timing is there, even if the absolute numbers can't be trusted. I do have a camera in the room, so if there are questions about what's happened at any given time, let me know and I can go look at the footage and see.

I greatly appreciate any and all insight/advice/input.

Welcome

Raise your starting pressure to 7.  4 is intended for small children, and 7 is about the lowest needed by an adult.

Turn EPR on full time, set at 2.  That will make your breathing more comfortable and lower your flow limits.

Your Oscar charts need some work.   To copy your chart, press the F12 key (FN+F12 for Mac).  That should end up listing the following, and only the following, in the order listed:

Event Flags
Flow Rate
Pressure
Leak Rate
Flow Limits

Again, welcome, and best wishes for achieving great therapy and comfort!  Smile
Machine:  ResMed AirCurve 10 Vauto
Mask:  Bleep DreamPort Sleep Solution and F&P Nova Micro

Hi,

I changed the order of the graphs. The "F12" screenshot function displays an error that it could not save the screenshot. I debugged the code and it appears to be an issue with the application + Flatpak, which will take time to resolve on my system. That said, I was able to find a way to include all the graphs you requested in a single screenshot. Here's a snapshot from today, after making the setting changes you requested. I'm including the previous day and today's results so you can compare.

Yesterday before your requested changes:

Today after your requested changes:

I do feel a little better rested today, for what it's worth.

FWIW, I had no breathing problems with a minimum of 6cmH2O and no EPR on my previous setting, so whatever is best from a health perspective, I'm happy to use! I greatly appreciate your input/assistance.

Here's a screenshot from a few nights prior, with those settings, in case it helps:

Please post a copy of your sleep study with your info redacted.
Did you have CAs during your sleep study?
