"Whatever I do, I will now be armed with the right information, mostly thanks to the team on this board that has advised me (and there have been many of you). This entire process is empowering, and a lesson pertaining to health care in general. Do not rely upon the medical experts without taking a proactive role for yourself. I have learned so much in the last 30 days. The scope of knowledge and experience is so impressive. The willingness to delve deep is visible, notwithstanding the time that it takes you to analyze and comment. The Oscar software and team is also amazing. When I first approached this apnea game, it was daunting. I now feel more in control, and many of the mysteries are gone. I am thankful to be on this board. You provide an outstanding service to people that really need your help. You should feel proud! I am going to excerpt (and duplicate) this tribute paragraph as a new thread -- a thank you to all of you, so that others on this board, who feel the exact same way, can see this. I will also be making a donation to this board."

Tribute To The Amazing Team On This Board
Below is a copy of a section at the end of a post of mine today, relating to my "new user progress." I want to share it as a new thread, because my impression of the team of people that administer, facilitate, and all of you that just comment on this board, is so high.

RE: Tribute To The Amazing Team On This Board
I am so glad I found this board. I am in the UK and all our hospitals seem to home in on is AHI, not the why variations happen etc.
I am now armed with loads of info for my appointment at the end of the month. The admins/mods on here are fantastic and give so much time to helping us, I am truly grateful for their help. Chris

RE: Tribute To The Amazing Team On This Board
I agree with Sleeper396. This is a terrific resource done by such helpful and informed people. I am very new to CPAP world and still struggling, but this Forum has already made a big difference in helping to cope by getting the necessary information (most of which is not readily provided by doctor or DME supplier). Thank you!
