URGENT HELP NEEDED | OSCAR
RE: URGENT HELP NEEDED | OSCAR
You started three identical threads. I deleted two of them.
Please use the links in my signature line to help guide you in the proper layout of a chart.
RE: URGENT HELP NEEDED | OSCAR
While waiting on the full chart, your Ti Min should be 0.3, Cycle and Trigger should be medium for now. This may change if data and your comment direct.
Mask Primer
Positional Apnea
Attach OSCAR, etc.

Why are you unable to tolerate it?
Quote:I continue to wake up tired,
That's because you're taking the mask off. The CPAP machine can't help you if you don't use it.
Tolerating CPAP therapy can be one of the hardest things we ever have to do, but it is worth it when you realize what is happening to your body without it. And the consequences are a lousy sleep-deprived life that ends early due to heart disease or stroke.
The good news, though, is that once you get adapted to CPAP therapy you will feel better than you have in years. You just have to get through the rough patch, the period of adaptation. While you're going through this you will feel worse than before, as you will get less sleep.
Quote:and when using the machine, I feel like I am not getting enough air and oxygen.
You feel that way, but you are actually getting more oxygen. Your mind is playing tricks on you, which is very common.
Follow OpalRose's advice and we can help you.

What about my current settings ? What should my pressure be and other settings be ?
RE: URGENT HELP NEEDED | OSCAR
Redo the chart as a screenshot and we can see better what to advise.

But the format for the chart is still wrong. We need the left panel minus calendar, then graphs Events, Flow Rate, Pressure, Leaks, Flow Limit.
View this OSCAR organization link.

Not being able to wear a mask and remain asleep, pulling the mask off during sleep, and the feeling of not getting enough air are common during the adaptation period of PAP therapy.
You can try wearing the mask while awake and sitting up for a time before sleep. Some read or watch TV while wearing a mask to get used to it. It can be a slow daunting process.
Once you have rearranged your OSCAR report as prescribed with:
1. Events
2. Flow Rate
3. Pressure
4. Flow Limitations
5. Leak Rate
You can rearrange the graphs' order and resize them to fit your screen for a screenshot/capture. Click and hold on the label to move the graphs. Click and hold on the bottom of the graph to change their heights. Organized the needed ones can be placed on one screen.
It is interesting that you "ended up," with a BiPap machine. You may want to contact your sleep study and/or doctor for your initial BiLevel pressure settings.
I am considering a BiLevel machine. It will be interesting to see your OSCAR reports and what those experienced with BiLevel have to say about your settings.
I only give suggestions from experience as a fellow CPAP user, not professional advice.
RE: URGENT HELP NEEDED | OSCAR
The easiest way to copy your Oscar chart is to use the fn key. That will usually show us what we need to see. Make sure we can read to the very bottom of the flow limits.
