Usage After 8 Months

Usage After 8 Months
Have a Resimed Airsense 10 with humidifier.
When I initially started I was getting results around 0.5 to 1.5 per night. Now after * months use while still under 5, my results are worse. Also initially I would sleep right through the night waking at around 6.30am. Now I will awake at 3.30am.  Is this normal? Ok?

RE: Usage After 8 Months
Hello,

To help out, we would like to see some actual data first, initially the following graphs, (in their order of importance)

1.Events
2.Flow rate
3.Pressure
4.Leak rate
5.Flow limitations

Important, please exclude the calendar & pie charts.

The statistics and settings on the left side should be fully visible.

Graphs at this stage need not be zoomed so we can  see  the full night's data.

Using the F12 key to take the screenshot can help also.

This link, Attaching images, files and posting charts. gives additional advice.

Thanks a lot.

RE: Usage After 8 Months
Welcome

It appears that you are still using ramp.  After 8 months, you don't need it anymore.  Turn it off.

Again, welcome, and best wishes for achieving great therapy and comfort!  Smile

RE: Usage After 8 Months
Hi,

Thanks for the 3 graphs.

On comparing the above, the latest on the 9th of May is the far worse than the 2 earlier, as you already indicated in your text.

The big items of difference are your centrals.

Have you recently taking any sleep aids, or other new medicines that could  impact your therapy ?

Your settings in these 3 graphs have only changed marginally, but looking further in more detail, your 95% leaking was up a bit, but still within recommended limits. You could however be sensitive to your current leak rate of 12.

Your flow limitation values  are excellent.

There is one other potential issue on the 9th of May graph. I could be wrong, but it looks like there is some clustering of events, which is ofter the tell-tale sign of positional apnea. You may want to read through this link to see it it could be relevant to you.

Have you started sleeping on your back, or a change in pillow recently?

A final point, your settings are not visible on the left hand side of your graphs. They should appear below the statistics section. Please see attached screen shot that should liberate sufficient space.
